"Gains up to 35hp"...well lets think about this for a second. If it costs $29, and it "can" get you 35hp...that's giving you a ratio of 1.2hp/$1. When it comes to modifying cars, if it sounds too good to be true, 99% of the time, it is.

If you send me $29, you'll gain 38.5 HP instantly and you don't have to bother with a messy install. That's a 10% increase over the Redline chip and much easier to implement!

Here's some feedback from one of their satisfied customers:

Sometimes you don't even get what you pay for. I'm surprised Ebay hasn't shut them down yet.

That's what I'm wondering too. The seller did receive a lot of positive feedbacks. BTW, does the resistor trick work? I understand the trick is to fool the ECU with cold air "signals" from air temp sensor. I don't believe 35hp but even 5hp is pretty good.

the resistor trick makes the engine run more rich.. which is about the last thing we'd ever need.

Probably falls under the trap of "I bought it and installed it therefore it must work because I would't possibly buy junk." Same reason you find a lot of crappy suspension parts about with people raving about how good they are.

Racing stripes make me FAST!!!!

dad put a chip on his truck actually made it worse think of it ,I know some of you are like thats technology from fred flintstone, but carbureators were tuned at certain altitudes when you changed altitudes the setup is not performing as well due to less dense air or more dense air. so back to this, the device tricks the comp into thinking its colder and sends more fuel to compensate for the more dense air but when you're running in hot weather then you're dumping fuel if u were introducing more than usual say ram air or turbo it may work better but when ur trying to get 35 hp for less than $30 then you probably dont have neither of these $30 chip or resistor doesnt = $1500 ems
not just any stripes but super sport stripes on the yugo
