no high beam headlights

my high beams dont work,they work when you pull the lever back to flash but when you push it forward,no headlights at all.the high beam indicator in the dash works,anyone have seen this?do you have to pull steering wheel to change switch?thanks

my 91na has that problem also, it would be great if someone could
point us in the right direction, i am not too concrened with not
having high beams, i don't use them, the flash works, but i would
like to fix them. when i get a chance i will look into it, but i suspect
the switch, i would need to see if the flash and highs on are powered
differantly, to go past the switch,

if someone knows the p/n and or other models that interchange.
that would help

It's the switch on your steering column. Something inside has probably broken or come unsoldered. You can pull up the wiring diagrams for the switch and follow the BGB instructors for testing functionality (MR2-Tech.com - BGB) or you can get a used switch off of someone and replace it to see if that fixes the issue.
