Rattling Muffler?

I have this rattle in my exhaust not long after I put a header on (5sfe). It really sounds like it's coming from the muffler (HKS dual sport) but I also suspect the cheap flex joint. Is it possible that something inside a muffler could start rattling? Also, I read somewhere that if oil leaks on a flex, it could blow smoke out of the exhaust. Is this also possible? If not, then I have worn rings or a early signs of a blown head gasket. Is it safe to drive the car with worn rings? I can't tell if the smoke is blue or white. I checked the coolant under the cap before I started it. It looked brownish, but not oil brownish. I suspect that it was just the fact that the radiator may never have been flushed in 174,000 miles. I have not done a compression test yet. But if the oil on the flex can cause a minor smoke issue, I suspect a busted flex and oil is getting in the exhaust where the flex is busted. I do have an oil leak and some is getting on the flex. Any insight would be great. Thanks

Mine occurs at a low rpm, like around 2000. Not high rpms. I'm checking it tomorrow. Thanks for the reply.
