Does anyone else have this exhaust

I just bought this exhaust for my 91 5sfe
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyot...38089744QQrdZ1
when i went to put it on the car and actually started looking at it, I wasnt 100% sure that it was going to go on without a problem. I just want to be sure because im going to have to cut off the stock muffler since the flange is so rotted. So if i have to put the stock one back on im gonna have to weld it back or something. Also another question is, the kit says it comes with piping so it can fit a turbo or non turbo car I assume the smaller pipe they give you is suposed to be for a 3sgte, but the flange on the pipe isnt even right. It should be the same as the other with 3 holes for studs right.

if you look at the pictures one of the pipes does have a 3 bolt flange on one side to a 2 bolt flange on the other side to bolt to the "y" pipe. I cant see a reason why it wouldnt fit.

I was looking at geting this set up as well let me know what you think about it.

Instead of screwing around with the remainder of your stock exhaust, why not buy these headers and go with an entirely new system from front to back?

that header and b-pipe go all the way back to muffler, just need some heavy duty sanding to clean up that connection and maybe a gasket.

Ok so i got the flange free where the stock muffler bolts on with a little help from the grinder. But when i put the other exhaust on the flange from the mufflers hits the axle boot and its about 5 or 6 inches short of meeting up with the pipe coming off the manifold. But I bolted it up with the exhaust sitting on the ground and it sounds really good which pissed me of even more when it didnt fit. So i guess what im going to do is cut the flange off the muffler side reduce the piping 2 or 2 1/2 inch for the little bit that its short to put some back pressure on the engine. But im not to sure yet but no matter what its going on lol. I wish i took pictures of it so i could just show you the problems i have with it.

so I know this is an old post but I have the same exhaust and ran into the same problem...that stupid flex pipe that bolts up to the 3 bolt flange isn't long enough so I just gave up...what did you/are you going to do about it?

Well i was planning on buying another stock pipe that comes off the manifold and some how cut it and make my own flanges that reduce the 3 inch pipe down to the stock size so this way it wouldnt have 3inch pipe on a naturaly aspirated car and put some back pressure on the engine. But right now my car is starting to have overheating problems so over this winter im seriously considering taking all the money ive been saving up for a street bike
(GSXR 750) and buying a jdm 3sgte rear clip to swap in.
