|
need help on swaping both the shift cables!!
i broke my shifter cable after shifting it into 3rd a little bit to hard
and i just bought some new shifter cables from toyota (both) and i wantted to know whether its hard to swap them out with the new ones... is there anything i should know before changing them? DO's and DONT'S? THANKS!! |

Mine was stuck in 4th gear, when the cable broke. It must have pulled the shifter into gear when the new cable was hooked to the tranny. Just remember which one goes on which side, or else you will do the job twice. ![]() |
