New MR2 Owner (Australia)

Gday,
I have just purchased an Australian 1992 MR2, and absolutely love this car! I did a ton of research on your site here before buying it, and everyone seems to love these vehicles. I grabbed a bargain $7000AUD (just about the cheapest one available in Australia), but it has a little bit of work to do.
I have a mechanic doing the timing belt (car is at 209,000km), and the rear right wheel bearing in mid January, apart from that he said the car is in great condition.
I noticed the 3rd gear can be crunchy when shifting down, so ill change the gearbox oil and see if that fixes it.

Also, I am looking for a passenger (left) side fog light, if anyone has one for sale, ill buy it...

I will be doing a full service including brakes tomorrow, if anyone has any tips could you please post in here! I might get bosch super 4 spark plugs (used these in my last car- daihatsu charade and they were great).
Great vehicle, I'll be cleaning and polishing it today, and might post some pics when im done...

Great find. I payed $15,500 for mine but it is a 1999 model with 140,000 kms.
Im just about finished totally rebuilding my car . The color that l selected is similar to yours but lighter. The only thing l need is the trim between the rear window cowl and body which is color coded. Can you tell me the color code of your car which will be on the ID plate. Want to see if l can get it or it will be black to match the other black trim.

PS by the way l am replacing everything for new parts, so if you want to upgrade anything or replace let me know.
ENGINE,TRIM,SUSPENSION,BRAKES,WIRING LOOMS, frunk , body,engine .EVERYTHING.
**** if any one had a spare shell they could literely buid a car.
ive got the last N/A 3SGE version AUSSIE delivery before they did the limited run of BEAMS engine. So EVERYTHING IS THE LATEST. bigger brakes.the highest output NA engine stc
Everything is in excellent condition
