3sge t-stat

This is sorta urgent as i need to do this tomorow and replace a friends jdm tstat because his car is overheating.

what t-stat can you use for the 3sge? is a 5sfe fine?

The 3sgte thermostats work in the 5sfe so I would suspect that you can interchange any of them.

Toyota only has one thermostat for all 3SG- engines in the mr2. The only time the PN changed is between the years.

90916-03075 for 01.12.1989-01.11.1993 3SG#..SW20
90916-03100 for 01.11.1993-01.08.1999 3SG#..SW20
