i can sell it to you for like 100+ shipping. I see one on ebay right now actually drivers side for sale but they want 200 bucks. I can take it out today and ship it out sometime this week if you can commit to buying it

I definatly want it as long as the regulator is in good condition and the motor works. I will need a day or two to sell off a pistol or rifle for the cash. could I just pm you when I have the money? any idea what shipping might cost?

I had to order my window regulator from Toyota. I think the P/N is Driver Side Window Regulator 85720-17030. IIRC, I paid about $90 for it. Good luck.

If you need to check price and availability on a new one, feel free to email me or post a thread on my vendor forum. Don't forget to let me know what year you are working on because I won't remember what it is from this thread - too much going on to keep track of things like that!

Thank you all for your offering to help. I wound up having my freind/coworker resoder the motor and i tig welded the bracket ears back on. got the door put back together last night and works good as new. once i replaced the fuse that blew also. that had me worried for a second

thanks again. this site and its members is awsome!!

^ you really need to degrease the regulator and regrease it with fresh regulator-specific grease. it sludges up and causes tons of resistance, im sort of confident that the friction of gunk is what shears the ears off.

.. but ive welded a set myself months ago and its still going strong today definitely works fine, its just a good idea to get in there with fresh grease.
