Easiest/cheapest way to turbo

say I bought a salvage car that has a 3SGTE and I want to use the donor parts without swapping the engine, what would all be needed to turbo my 5S?

That doesn't make a great deal of sense. Just do the turbo swap then sell off the running 5sfe to recoup some of your expenses. Depending on how well the motor is/was maintained you might be waiting for quite a while.

Rebuild your 3sgte engine. When you're 75% complete with the rebuild, drain half of your oil out of your 5s and go take to the track. Two problems solved.....rebuilt engine and a blown 5s. Oh and call AAA.
