Angry im stumped

ok, I've been having power problems and it slowly got worse. now its to the point where i cant idle and turn the radiator fans on with out the car bogging down and dieing. Well some people said that its the alternator or voltage regulator, they were both test good, then i was like well ill take another battery and fully charge it then stick it in. did the same thing. i took the batter that was normally in there fully charged it and stuck it in. The car idled longer than it normally does, but then once it gets up to temp. or i turn on the head lights it dies down and cuts off. i never got the battery tested by a parts store but it did it with another battery. What do you all think the problem is. I have the 3S-GE motor from a 3rd gen celica and im running a haltech computer. Any help or ideas to try something would be greatly appreciated

oh and also..when u press the gas pedal in and idle it at 1500 the car runs great can rev up to 6500 with no problem or hesitation just wont idle for anything i have to hill toe at stops and i for sure cant drive at night. car starts to idle at 1000 then slowly goes down to 800 and once it hits 800 it will go down to 600 and die

Tom's right. You need to talk to someone that can look at your tuning. Sounds to me like you might not be getting enough gas at idle.

One thing you could do if you want to eliminate electrical problems is take it to sears and have them do a system check. That gives you feedback on the entire charging system.
