Belt squeaks...

I believe my alternator drive belt is the one squeaking. it only does so in lower engine speeds in first through 3rd gear. is there a way to get to the tension bolts or anything like that without having to remove many parts from the engine bay?

p.s. it is a 1993 n/a, 5sfe, 5 speed manual.

you dont have to remove anything. just reach down and tighten the bolt.

awesome, I just have a lack of tools at my house and have to use my friends shop. and I don't want to start projects without planned notice. a quick visit should be cool. thanks for the quick update, I have not been under my hood a whole bunch outside of the regular routine, and still new to the MR2. I appreciate it!

just an update, I have found out that it is more likely some belt that has to do with the climate control fan(when the air is turned on, and the a/c is on/off does not make a difference.). the belt will squeak then. although I am missing some tensioning bolts for the alternator(still works perfectly), and I doubt the timing belt is doing anything(no unstable vibrations, or noises coming from that area.) there is no direct link or belt from the engine to the climate control (air vents in the cabin) from a belt or anything like that is there? I don't see any in the repair manual for the car. thanks in advance for what ever you guys can help me out on!

my apologies, bad wording on that.

I will make a video of the car with my girlfriends camera. and when I get that up, I'll link you guys to the video so you can see what the situation is.

I am probably not accurate about the tension, is there a particular technique that you my suggest?

AFAIK you should have about an 1/8th of an inch or so of play.

so usually if a belt is too tight, it will cause the chirping noise?

after driving it tonight, it chirped even though I had the air and the A/C off. :/

it can't make up it's mind. so there's no guarantee on any of the belts is there? I'll just need to learn(find in the manual) where each tensioner is located.

UPDATE:

I had just got my parts from the dealership here. my alternator does not seem to be the problem anymore.

the A/C belt is chirping(slipping on one of the 3 pulleys) when the A/C compressor is turned on. little to no chirping when it is off.

also the belt seems really tight, I am not too sure where the tensioner is located. if you guys could help me out on that it would be awesome!
