i would try moreys upper cylinder lubricant
it goes in the fuel and cleans out all the injectotes etc but is also designered to dissolve carbon buildup on the valves and tops of pistons

like we say down here "moreys fixs everything"

Let hope it is fixed by tomorrow, it annoyed the crap out of me, every time I try to take off fast it was just knocking and it was embarrassing...because the car looks kinda hot.

Curious does your engine run hot ?
Cause the knocking on my corolla is partly due to timing but mainly because the rings are going as it drinks oil.
Are you having to top up your oil ?

I just bought the car couple of weeks ago and so far, no oil top up yet.
No, the car runs at normal temp and idling around 900RPM.

Good new, the knocking problem seem has disappeared, I can only hear it faithly if I was on higher gear and try to step on the acceleration.

This is what I have done:

1.Clean the Distributor cap (lots of dusk and buildup)
2.Run Injector cleaner
3.Run 95 Octane fuel.

and REV the crap out of the car for 5 min on the Freeway (after a week having the injector cleaner in the fuel).

Hope this is a permanent fix and would help others with similar problem.

After this tank, I will try to go back to the normal fuel ie: 91 Octane (in Aus) and see what happen.

also check the plugs if theres carbon buildup on them there is likely some on the pistons
never hurts to replace them anyway a clean running engine will save you lots in the long run
