hey, try posting in regional forum. if they dont have it here then try mr2oc.com/regionalforums. but you basically dont need any help till you start droping the engine.

Dont worry about it until you take off 3 of the 4 engine mounts and rear crossmember. You can use your little brother or some unexperienced person to help. I prefer a guy or grl if she knows what she's doing. lol... I used my non-mechanic brothers to help.

So how do I know that I've got everything up top done. Because I sure don't lol.. I've unplugged about everything I could see and don't have a clue if it's all done up top. BTW I have about 3/4's a tank of gas left anyone know an easy/non messy way of getting the fuel out would be much appreciated!

You don't have to drain the gas tank, a little fuel will spill out when you take the fuel lines off but thats about it.

Just look at everything that is connecting the engine/transmission to the chassis and remove it/unhook it,etc.

just like levi said. remove the fuse box in engine bay, all hoses unpluged, wires, grounds, shifter cables(probably tie these up), slave cylinder(tie also).

Hey glad to see you started! There definitely isn't too much going on up top. Most of the work is underneath the car. Let me know if you have any specific questions. I am almost ready to reinstall the motor.
