RPMs rev high, but takes a while before it starts speeeding up...?
idk wut the problem is. some told me that the clutch needs replacing, or the timing belt. but the problem is getting worse. wen i shift, i barely press the gas pedal and it revs high but the car barely moves. would this be the clutch needing replacement?

+1 for clutch.
The clutch transfers the power/spinning between the engine and the transmission via friction plates. when it wears out, it no longer makes good hard contact and it slips, allowing the engine to spin without pushing the transmission at the same rate, which also wears out whats left of the clutch at a high rate of speed |

thankk youuuuu. i just bought my new clutch kit today. prob is i dnt got enuff money for the labor its gona cost to put it in. i heard you gotta take out the tranny to replace the clutch. sounds too complicated for me to do on my own. anyways, wuld the clutch be the reason y i hav the annoying problem of getting up a hill at a faster speed then 15 mph? lol. since i always hav to go up a hill everyday on my way to school, i hate having to slowly make my way up the damn thing on 2nd gear, reving around 3000 rpms but only going 15, max 20 but it doesnt go any faster, just keeps reving...

Yeah thats why you cant go anywhere. A good clutch makes the wheels spin with the engine when it's in gear. Since your clutch is shot and you keep going up hill slipping it, you are just going to kill it completely within a few days. When you do your clutch, get the flywheel cut so you dont go through the new clutch faster than you have to.
