What makes you say they only last for 60K, do you have some data / proof of this?

sorry i posted it in the wrong spot. Very tired...just got home from 2nd job...been up since 6:30 when I dropped the car off to be aligned after replacing the rear axles and steering rack. Both of which were a royal pain in the *** to find in stock anywhere. If anyone needs one I can tell you the company I am sending mine to so you can have first dibs on the rebuilt one.

What does Node charge for the conversion? Made $23K this month and might be ready in a few months. Gotta pay that Titan off first.

Sell real estate. Busy month last month and this month. Sold everything I had and several others to some buyers I was working with. I need to get some more signs in peoples yards now that I have none. Gotta keep marketing in this business

This is what makes sense to me. Why not have one that is an Eaton type rather than a centrifugal or turbo. Yes I know their isn't a market because it would be impractical. But how nice would it be to have one with the S/C. I wouldn't even try to get a huge record out of the power because I can not see the 5SFE doing that. I would like to see atleast 250-300 out of this type of setup. If it turns out with more then hey who can complain about more power. Here is something I found about the 5SFE along with the whole band of FE engines that toyota produces. Its a good read. http://www.toysport.com/Technical%20...%20Engines.htm My big question is this. Is the blower not an option?

The pic I have is from the net. I just thought it was one of the cleanest bodykits for the 2 I have seen in a while. Aside from the Veilside and the 2000GT that Toyota makes. I don't even know if this kit is real, it sure looks good. Here, I'll post pics of it.

its everywhere...the 1uz guys mention this problem a lot...the cam starts to wear.

Think of this.

the stock cam is made from hardened and treated metal

rewelding them larger then grinding them to new profile is just a basic metal it will wear away quicker. You can harden each cam if you want..then your paying more for a bit extra life...

what theh hell thread is this...im so lost now...

contact node for rates...

it depends greatly on the engine and power you want and how fast you want it done.
Brad is in the south im in the west and node is in the east...there are others here and there but i dont know if they are doing it for a living/job.

What brought this on was that when I was rebuilding the 5S in my garage I remembered seeing the Prelude H22 with a blower. I asked that company if it could be done with the 5S and they told me it couldn't be done and good luck trying. I didn't find it a very professional response from a company like them.

Forget 30 over on the bore or you will be blowing HGs I think 20 is pushing it from what I remember. What new crank are you talking about? There's nothing wrong with the stock crank, it's as strong or stronger than the 3S.

As far as bolt ons there Headers / Intake / Exhaust. You can make your own intake or wait for mine to come out, there's Headers on Ebay and theres a few exhaust systems like the NATKO.

You can reach about 220hp or so if you do:

98+ camry Oil Pump
ITBs
4-2-1 Header
Cams
11.5:1 pistons
Rods
Lightened flywheel
Exhaust
Port and Polish
Injectors
Fuel Pump
EMS + Tune

May be forgetting a few things but that should get you up there, be prepared to spend around 4-5K doing it YOURSELF... this is why nobody really invests much into the 5S although I think it would be a fun motor.
This seems like a lot more power than it should. Has anyone gotten this much out of this engine with out Nitro or Turbo? I think the record is like 157. I have another 5S in my garage.

I did not say 220WHP. My dyno programs came up with 240 actually but I doubt it would get that high. Remember the record did not have ITBs and only one aftermarket cam.
