my tranny is stuck need help asap

What's up? I'm new 2 the site. I have a 91 mk2 and it has a stock 5sfe. I did a tranny fluid change, put the new gear oil in and the shifter is stuck in nuetral and wont move at all. What do u think it could be?

just out of curiosity, where did you fill the tranny at? the side fill port or the big bolt at the top with a lock nut.

whats up guys i used castrol hypoyc gear oil and the problem was i filled it frm the top right bellow the intake but the thing wat wen i put the blot bac on i put it 2 tight and the shifter wouldent move so i unloosend it up and i was able 2 move it now its nice and smooth
