Please Please Please Help Me With This!!!
With a 5S-GE head swap, Please i just want to know if it is as simple and getting the.(The oil and water passages are not a problem for me, so that aside)
1.proper pistons(compression and conpatable with GE head) 2.Pulling my 5s engine harness and swapping in the ge enigne haress, and replacing the tach. 3. Crank Gear 4. And timing belt? I know this has ben posted before, but its all so confusing to me because others say anther thing. So i figured with the oil and water passages aside, it sound be as easy and performint the 4 task above, Please correct if iam wrong? Thanks Guys For Everything. |

I gotta ask how your getting around the oil and water passages problem?
Honestly, i think this is territory not too many have accomplished (if any). Im sure we would love to hear your ideas. |

I picked up an 3S-GE head out of a 89 celica, yes its was a 2.0 but i notice that the blocks water and oil passages look about the same. So i took my 5S head gasket and sat it on the 89 3S, perfect fit i meen it was the same thing. Now the 5S and 3S oil passages were the same but the water passagges were different, i notice the head gasket just block off parts of the flow to allow it to work fine.
