FS: Toyota truck 5-speed 4wd transmission $300

My storage space has become a rare commodity, so I'm tying to unload this again.

It's a manual, 4wd transmission from a 1997 4Runner SR5. The kind used with the 3.4l V6 (5VZ-FE).

The mileage is unknown on the transmission itself, but it still shifts silky smooth. Includes a flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch. Yes, they're used, but it's all in good shape and the clutch disk has plenty of meat left on it.

There was some damage to the... Transfer case, I believe it's called? I'm still new to the automotive terminology. Anyway, it was dented with cracking in the apex of the dent. It was machined and welded, so it's fixed. It's been tested for clearance, and it doesn't leak (even though it's in the front of the transmission, where there's no fluid. After it was welded, I did a flourescent penetrant inspection on it to make sure the weld was 100%).

Asking 300USD. Price is pretty firm. Depending on your location, I may be able to deliver. But other than that, it'll probably be local pick-up only. Doing the whole freight thing is just a pain, unless you want to arrange it and obviously pay for it... Located in Fairfield/Vacaville area of Cali.

Oh, if you're wondering why I'm selling, it's because I bought it all as a front clip for my MR2 V6 project. I have no need for the transmission.
