Running rich

Hey guys!!

Firstly saying hey to everyone as this is my first post, secondly and most importantly, my mr2 2.0 litre g-limited seems to be running seriosuly rich at the moment, i have only had the car about a month, had a feeling it was runing rich from the start, but seems a little worse now. By looking through previous posts i thougth i had cracked it down to a dodgy lambder sensor, but alas, i cannot even find one on my car! i know for sure it has a longlife backbox, but it appears to have the full system!

It feels rather hesitant low down anyways and when starting from cold it is seriosuly rough low down for the first two minuts or so.

soo..

question number one, is it common to have no lambda sensor at all when a perfornace exhaust system is put on?

Number two, how does the ecu react to not having a lambda sensor to talk to?

number three, any other suggestions or advice?

Many thanks in advance,

Andy
