91+ NA brakes are all the same AFAIK. With a good set of pads on my 94 I have all the stopping power I could really ask for, although I do not AutoX my car either.

Between all of these brake systems you really won't see much of a difference until you start pushing the envelope, which you should never ever be doing on the street.

That being said, the biggest differences between the varients out there is NA = 1 pot with smallest pad and smallest caliper, '93+ turbo brakes = 2 pot with largest pads and largest calipers, '91-'92 turbo = 2 pot with pads and calipers slightly smaller than '93+.

NA to any turbo variant is a significant jump.

Depends on how clean you're looking to be. You can do it with just the calipers and a larger (turbo) master cylinder. I'd also strongly recommend the proportioning valve or you'll end up with a rear brake bias.

The dust covers on the NA hubs will be a little small for the turbo brake calipers but this is easily solved with a little bending.

Be aware of the fact that '93+ calipers WILL NOT fit under 14" wheels.

+1000 Take advantage of all the 93+ nutswingers and get yourself a cheap set of 92 Turbo front calipers. Take the money you save by not having to replace rotors (the front rotors are the same) and buy a rebuild kit and some good fluid. Call it a day.

you'll need the brackets too.. and probably the prop valve..

you can always play around with different master cylinders too.. has a DRASTIC effect on pedal feel.

^^ I mentioned the prop valve and the MC :P

I did forget to mention the rotors though. The earlier turbo brakes use the same rotors as the NA brakes.

I am getting a 97 turbo rear clip so I am half way there just need the front. How different are the rear brakes from my 93 N/A? I have vented/drilled 93 N/A rotors If they are the same I could reuse them.

you should use that as a great opportunity to get rid of the drilled rotors.
