Suspension/Wheels

I just bought new 5zigen FN01R C's
17x8 (+43) front
17x9 (+43) rear

The tire size i wanted is:
Front: 215/40/17
Rear: 255/40/17

Is that legit?

Also for my suspension:
I was going to replace my bushings and get the H&R coilover kit.
I heard that you have to get wheel spacers or an upper mount. I'm not sure what I should do.

Do you guys know anything about this or another way I should go. Let me know

Thanks,
Kent

8" wide fronts are about as wide as you want to go with a stock body MKII, that means limited offsets - between +34ish and 40ish. Adding 5mm spacers in front to your +43 will make it just about perfect. And w/ +38 you can mount 225/35 if you get ambitious.

Offsets on your 17x9s are good on stock spring/struts considering the fat rear tires you're mounting, but you may have slight issues w/ coilovers - you may need another 5mm spacer to push the tire away from the suspension.
