New, couple of questions

I just purchaced a N/A 92 MR2 for 100 bucks. It's pretty much a rolling chasis. The previous owner said the water pump went bad and it was all down hill from there. I plan on pulling the motor this weekend.

How hard is it to pull the motor. Does it drop down though the bottom or does it come up? I would love to drop a 3G-STE in it but I don't think I can do that, nor do I know a shop that can do that kind of swap. I live in Southen New Jersey.

Is there even a remote chance of getting the same preformance from a 3S-GE to that of a 3S-GTE? I know the compression is higher in GE, so if I ran low compression pistons would I be able to run a turbo on the GE?

Also if anyone knows where to get a step-by-step guide on how to pull the motor it would be greatly appreciated.

None of the engine swap links work, but the others do. Thank you for your help.

The swap information can be found on the forum, just go to the 5SFE or 3SGTE and you will see it. They are stickies.
