is the compressor kicking in when you turn on the ac? if not try charging it first with freon. i heard that the compressor will not kick in if its low in freon. but be careful make sure you put the correct freon. if you have r-12 then you have to take it to a shop. if you have it converted to r-34 then i believe you can buy them at any local auto store for about 20 bucks. coz my ac is out too and right now its about the same temp as your area.

it's 91 with 51% humidity, so I feel you guys. but mine was converted to 134A I believe. Should I just go out side and hook up my refill thingy and turn the AC on to see if it will charge?

I had like half of one of the littler cans and when I sprayed it into the system the AC cycled but never stayed on. I'm pretty sure I have a leak and I don't want to dump like $80 into the 134A crap.

im all for DIY fixing, but for ac repair you really do need the expensive ac specific tools and machines. you're probably going to have to take it to a shop.

AC is tricky, leaks, compressors, and all that good stuff
You should have it get looked at and get an estimate, I'm pretty sure its not going to be over $300 to get it fixed |
