I can tell you I have a Spec Stage 3 and a Fidanza FW and the clutch overheats and slips easily. I only have 275whp and still have problems sometimes when running it at the track. If you don't track it or power shift, it would probably be ok. If I got another, I would probably go Center Force with the counter weights if they make one. If you don't race, and don't have a lot of hp go oem.
Whatever you get, be sure to get the FW resurfaced and break the clutch in properly. Greg |

Personally i would get a stage 2 clutch, stage 3 has too much pressure, i heard for turbo cars a medium weight flywheel is better.

Oh yeah my bad, I'm not an expert but i think you break in a clutch like you break in a new pair of shoes. by using it?

Pretty much, but you have to be easy on it for about 500 miles or so. This will lay down a layer of the clutch material to the pressure plate and FW giving it better grip. More like breaking in brakes.

forgot to ask.
is this good? South Bend Rally Series Clutch Kits also does the 2.2 use a pilot bearing and throwout bearing or what? because ive noticed most clutch kits for the 2.2 come only with throwout bearing. |

iono, you get what you pay for. IMO i would look at some reviews, that's probably the best way to tell by looking at other people's opinion/experiences with those products. I personally would trust EXEDY's clutches based on good reviews.
Then again you say you ain't doing any hardcore driving so maybe those clutches are okay or OEM. ![]() |

get away from findaza and racing1 i heard alot of problems with them. Yes they are dirt cheap for reason because they dont last long. Listen i have ACT CLUTCH stage 1 for some reason on my mr2 if feels like its a stage 5 clutch VERY HARD. My brother has ACT stage 3 on civic and it feels 1/2 of my clutch. I suggest sticking to oem feels great especially for nice Daily Driver. |
