Yeah, I don't have headers yet either, but when I get a set I'll probably paint or powdercoat them, depending on money and what research I do.

I think I'll just sand the hell out of the headers, then paint them with 2500 degree paint, then heat wrap.

There you go, perfect!
What color are you going for? Just a plain black, or what? |

Well the paint I really dont care. But the heat wrap I want Sard blue which I found on the web a while back which I cant find anymore. If I cant find the Sard Blue I'm going black heat wrap.

Well, I had specifically meant bluemr2, but what color would you paint your headers mr2stealth?
Personally, I'd go for something crazy like neon freaking green. I'd make it match whatever else I had in the engine bay first though. |

Hey, it's a forum, a group discussion! There's no butting in.
![]() That sounds pretty cool too....I wouldn't do something that didn't fit in with the theme. If I already had like green spark plug wires and green silicon hoses for the intake and stuff like that then green headers would be killer. |

Hell, I wouldn't mind anything right now. Like I said in the other thread, all my money goes to paying back the car right now.
