Yeah, I don't have headers yet either, but when I get a set I'll probably paint or powdercoat them, depending on money and what research I do.

yea thats probably a good idea, hopefully when i get my mr2 back tomorrow...it will be like drivin it for the first time! its only been 4 1/2 long months!

I think I'll just sand the hell out of the headers, then paint them with 2500 degree paint, then heat wrap.

Well the paint I really dont care. But the heat wrap I want Sard blue which I found on the web a while back which I cant find anymore. If I cant find the Sard Blue I'm going black heat wrap.

Well, I had specifically meant bluemr2, but what color would you paint your headers mr2stealth?

Personally, I'd go for something crazy like neon freaking green. I'd make it match whatever else I had in the engine bay first though.

i would most likely paint them black to go with my red and black theme

Hey, it's a forum, a group discussion! There's no butting in.

That sounds pretty cool too....I wouldn't do something that didn't fit in with the theme.

If I already had like green spark plug wires and green silicon hoses for the intake and stuff like that then green headers would be killer.

You should see if you could powder coat them glow in the dark. I dunno if any powder coat would hold that much heat, but if it could that would be cool!
