Found a mysterious wire!

I was taking apart the throttle body today. Every connector matched up and made sence accept one that i found dangling. It split out of the same bundle the TPS came from. It was a very small female connector, possibly went to a 2 pin connector. Not sure what its for. If anyone knows of this wire can you shed some light on the subject as to where it goes?

Sorry i couldnt post a picture, but it gets dark at 6 o'clock these days. I can get a picture on wednesday, class all day tomorrow.

Thanks!

its not for anything. if you dig around the car, you'll find tons of connectors that go no where.

it is fairly concerning seeing plugs that dont go anywhere

i think all the fed cars have a plug by the throttle body which plugs into the egr sensor on california cars. cheaper to just give everyone the same harness and omit the sensor for everyone not in cali.

theres at least one more plug on the right side of the engine bay that goes no where.. some cars got foglamp wiring with no foglamps. it is pretty odd, but we've all got those empty plugs.
