Water pump?
So while I parked my car I noticed there's a small drip under it on the right hanmd side of the motor. I looked on top and nothing is there in plain site. I looked under and I can't see sh!t. SO I let the car rest and turn it on again and it takes the leak about a minute before it starts to drip again.
It's a small drip, but constant and is only there while the car is running. I look under the car while it's running but all I see is a coolant drip that is running off the bottom right side of the oil pan. Can I just assume that is the water pump pee hole telling me it's time to replace that pump? Or am I missing something? |

SON OF A B!TCH!!! I may not have the time to do it myself since I am only home 2 days a week, so I got a quote from my buddys shop for $275 which includes a new pump and the timing belt replaced. I may go that route if I don't get around to it this weekend.

275 is a freakin steal for that job.
if you're just doing the pump by itself, you can do them really easily.. the belt routes around that stupid mount which makes the timing belt job a bit harder.. but if you just leave it on you can pull the pump off without really removing much at all. but then again, if the pumps leaking its probably time for a belt too..

Oh hell yeah that's a steal, he's actually my sisters ex-husband and he hooks me up big time. He's the one selling me the '90 Celica for $500 that I posted about. I figured for that price it's worth it to just let him do it and be done with it.
