What mods do you have with your N/A?

As titled, just want to know what setup you have with your NA.

Currently I only have installed an intake and soon plan to buy exhaust and header from EMS, since they are doing promotions. I know upgrading cams are a great step to increase power, but I absolutely plan on spending the money on the 3S swap in a year or two.

So yea what have you done to your NA? I would like everyone to participate in this thread

Best,

-K

Just finished replacing: struts, springs, bushings, end links, rack and pinion with new inner and outers. I'm concentrating on stopping the rattles.

I also threw on some fogs, color changing illuminated name plate, and a set of turbo seats that are cleverly recovered to look like na seats.

If you plan the 3sgte swap then dont bother getting the headers and exhaust, thats just going to cost you around $800 and then when you get the 3sgte your going to have to buy different headers and exhaust

I just put an intake on mine, I plan to do a swap in the summer when its hot out and then I'll start buying parts for it

+1. he is right. if you are planning a swap just save youre money for the better and faster motor. on the exhaust though i dont think you have to buy another one if you buy it at emspowered.com just tell baktash that you will swap a motor soon and he will include the midpipe you can use for 3sgte. but if im not mistaken it comes with it anyways when you buy the exhaust but just tell him anyways.

+2. With your potential future swap, the most advantageous thing to do is upgrade your suspension.

hehe. my car is a NA 5SFE, though not a mr2.

custom cams, port and polished head, shimless buckets, custom valve springs, milled head, '99 5s oil pump, comectic hg, oversized intake valves, rebuilt shortblock with balance shafts removed, custom (mandrel tubing) catback, unorthodox ultra s underdrive (crank) pulley, cai, custom 2.25" full exhaust, rippmods 4-2-1 ceramic coated header / collector / dp, apex'i S-AFC II, bypassed tb coolant line, hawk hp+ pads, csf double wide radiator with low temp thermostat, tokico blue struts, whiteline v6 springs (1 coil cut from the front), whiteline rsb, arospeed front strut tower bar.

I think that's it as far as the "go" is concerned right now, I have a ton of "show" stuff but nothing too crazy, I like clean not kiddy.
