fvillota, I have never seen individual TB's on a 5s. most of the ones i have seen (corollas)were on a 4age.
anything you would do here would be custom. I highly dought someone would make a 5s kit. the 4age setup is on ebay all the time. (again for corollas) |

not without supporting mods and a really good tune. And tuning ITB's is a real pain IDB.

tuning itb's isnt a pain.. actually its really, really easy. one of the big benefits of itbs is how easy they are to tune. you just bolt on new runners for a different length, instead of having to buy a completely new manifold with a conventional setup.
the manifold IS too small. it flows bad, it plugs off, it has an unreasonable inlet... but the cams are 10 times more problematic, address those first. |

i guess tuning ITBs on Volkswagens and Hondas is different than tuning ITB's on Toyotas. Then again, im used to carbs and plenum setups using MAP/MAF setups. I wouldn't recommend ITB's on a daily however.
Whats your technique for tuning the little devils? I guess it's all the same but different in it's own right. Church, priest, tabernacle, ya dig ![]() |

I PMed this dude about his camry a long time ago and he told me it was A LOT of custom fabbing, which I could imagine. The itbs came off of a suzuki something or other, but I believe you can get em off of most sport bikes, as long as you tune 'em, and put socks on 'em! Also: (not as clear as the camry vid) but I found this... |
