Hey people, im new here at the forum, i dont own an MR2 YET! but im excited to get my hands on one soon. My question is:
Is it a good idea to buy a 91 n/a and install a turbo or is it better to just buy the stock turbo car? what are the ups and downs of each? Thanks --Edgar ![]() |

The 5sfe is the USDM 2.2 n/a motor. The turbo engines are 2.0 3sgte. The n/a european, canadian, and JDM engines are 2.0 3sge.
Even thuogh it is not your first car, it takes a fair amount of skill to handle a mr2. Turbo models have prooven to be too much for an inexperianced driver. I am not saying you are inexperianced, just giving some safty info. I recommend researching on the understeering aspects of this vehicle. |
