BRAKE HELP!

I need some advice/ information. So here's the situation.

I have just replaced my master cylinder with a factory NA replacement part. I however I just found out that I also need to replace my left front caliper and my mechanic recommends that I replace my brake hoses too. I was thinking of upgrading to either 93 NA front brakes, (rotors, pads and calipers) or I was thinking of using the 91 Turbo brakes (rotors, pads, and calipers)

Are either brake setups (93 NA brakes or 91 turbo brakes) compatible with my 91 components? Which is better? WillI upset the brake bias if I upgrade the fronts? I don't race the car but am looking for a small increase in stopping power. I am running 15 inch wheels in the winter and 16 inch in the summer so I know clearence isn't an issue.

NA brakes are all the same, 91-95.

if you're having ANY stopping power problems on the street with na brakes, you have bad/cheap pads. you should have incredible stopping power, stock. just replace your calipers and get better quality pads (and cut or replace your rotors). axis ultimates are great.. stock pads are very high quality too.

I understand completely, I just thought that Toyota upgraded all of the MR2 brakes (NA and Turbo models) in 93 increasing their size? I thought thats one of the reasons for the 15 inch wheels beyond all of the suspension upgrades that they made to counter the snap back over steer, but also to accommodate the bigger brake size.

Plus I did stop very well my stock equipments but a few years ago I upgraded with Hawk performance pads and Power Slot Rotors, however I am surrounded by Porsches, M3s, Vettes, etc in my area and I know most of them will stop faster than my MR2 will. So I wanted to increase the brakes size to the 93 model upgrade or to the 91 T brakes.

I originally read that the 91 NA stopped from 60-0 in 130 feet and that the Turbo stopped from 60-0 in 111 feet, unfortunately for me I have the harsh reality that many cars in my area will stop faster than that. Between being a performance upgrade I would also want to perform this upgrade for a reason of safety, I want to out stop/match other cars on the road.

To further enhance my cars performance I have a heavy duty bilstein suspension 16x7.5r and 16x7fr Dunlop Direzza Star Spec Tires and my rims weigh around 22lb a piece.

The 15" wheels were put on exclusively to accommodate the turbo brakes. Those braking distances would be based on stock equipment. The best way to shrink your stopping distances is to improve your pads then when you're able to lock your tires up easily you go with a stickier tire.

Oh I thought that in 93 the NAs also got bigger brakes. With my upgrades (front) hawk hps pads, powerslot slotted rotors 16x7 dunlop direzza sport Z1 tires (all around) and brand new calipers hoses, master cylinder, new oem equipment on the rear (calipers, pads, rotors, etc.), and an upgraded heavy duty bilstein shocks (420psi instead of the stock 250psi Tokico shocks) at all 4 corners.

I figured these upgrades would take my braking distance (60-0mph) down to around 120 feet. Does that sound accurate? Or do you think more or less?
