Here are some pics of the car though... even though it's covered in dust, and it's about four or five different colors. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The trunk lid and engine lid sit flush btw... I just laid it down to take some pics. Oh, and I know what you're all thinking! Don't worry, these are in the mail... Okay so... I'm not sure how long it's going to take to finish the car now because my wife just had triplets. They're half Japanese... and they're so cute!
![]() All joking aside, I finished the car last week but the turbo was making weird noises. I should be getting another this weekend and sending the one on the car out for a rebuild. |

Alright so, I took a pic of the engine bay today and made a video of the noises which I believe are coming from the turbo. The engine bay is really dirty, I know I know. I'll get to that after I get the car running properly.
![]() Does this sound like the turbo to you? |

Man that looks great, Really like the BOV. Do you have the intercooler bolted or is it just held by the piping?? What injectors are you running? What turbo?? Did you change map sensors??(Sorry if these are repeats, I have a memorr loss, so i dont remember things)

Haha, it's cool man. I haven't made a bracket for the intercooler yet, although it seems to be positioned in that spot fairly well.
I'm using 315cc injectors from an MKIII Supra, CT-26 turbo and 2 bar map sensor both from a 2nd gen 3S-GTE. |

About 175 is the average price I'd say. Just don't get one that needs a rebuild like mine. Haha!

Thanks, do you think if I leave it with the t3 t4 and the 315cc injectors and using the msd for a while would be bad, I really don't want to invest any more money on this motor.. I want to build the 5sgte and swap that in there

Whatever you decide, you should just make sure you do everything right the first time. It may take a little extra time and money, but it'll be well worth it in the end. Decide which turbo you want to use, or what your target hp/tq is and go from there.

Well this is the truth, I'm tired of this motor and do not want to keep investing in it. I want to build a 5sgte instead. I was talking to killer and this is what I came up with. I'm going to keep the same turbo and same injectors and run them with the MSD, I'm just going to get an FPR like killer told me me and turn the wastegate down to 5psi. It's not like I'm going to push it, I just want to be able to drive it while its REAL motor is being made
