The clutch can't slip on a honda, it just wheelspins, torquesteers then hits a traffic light
I have a friend with a turbo b16a integra and he gets pissy when I bet him in my n/a mkI on rallies. I just lol and tell him to get a toyota. |

eazy and i have talked in detail about this, the goal would be to use a beams 3sge head with the 5sfe block, however a few problems came of it, first there needs to be an oil passage line in the block to the head for the vvt to work, which the 5sfe doesnt have, so the next thought was to do what the ls/vetec honda guys do, run a line by the oil cooler to the head, but now what do you do with the oil passage to the head? and how do you get the correct pressure? now this puts us into another problem, if you want to upgrade cams no aftermarket ones will work with the vvt. how do you tune for the 2.2 stroked setup?
watter passages will also have to be drilled in order for cooling, not a huge deal, but something that will have to overcome. i personally think the 2.2 crank with a set of high comp pistions and custom rods would be the way to go from a 86X86 to a 86X91 if im not mistaken! |

Thats a pritty broad statement. What engine, what car, what track? put a stock beams mr2 against stock civic si on a tight autox course and my money's on the 2. It is just my personal oppinion that dime a dozen hondas suck. I didnt say you couldnt make them fast. you can make a honda very fast, but it is still a honda. (sorry, now I'm done with the honda thing. I had to get that out) |

im confident we can have a normal convo that stays in line,,,,,
im talking about engines, like i said comparing them to the 3sgte and the n/a mr2s, engine vs engine, hondas got the toyota all around. if you are going to say beams, than you would have to put it against a type r, that would be very close in an autoX, but engine wise the hondas got the beams left and right. built vs built honda has the 3sge's... stock for stock they also have us.. this is coming from someone who has actually built a powerhouse N/A toyota engine, they have us, good for them |
