91 mr2 n/a tranny problem! HELP?? anyone??

i just bought the car less than a week and its already having a problem. car has about 150k miles on it...
i replaced spark plugs, spark plugs wire, timing belt, new battery, and did a transmission fluid. 2nd & 3rd grinds everytime i shift in gear...
what do i need to do to fix that problem?? anyone??

What kind of fluid did you use?

unfortunately, this is a common problem for MR2 owners, exactly how you described it too. The synchros get worn and you can either have it rebuilt, or try the fluid change which does help a lot of owners however it only masks the problem, doesn't really fix it, but does extend the life.
