5sfe swap question

a general question ao anyone...is it the same thing 92 mr2 5sfe than a toyota camry 5sfe 92 to 96???

from what ive learned throught some of the guys here is that the camry engine has a counter balance shaft, which was put into the 5sfe engines for the camry owners who wanted a little less vibration or something like that...

you have to take it off if it has it and make sure you properly seal the extra oil line thing otherwise KABOOM! oh, also if you have the shaft your oil pan wont fit properly... i had one and my car drives perfectly fine without it...


any doubts at all pm muffinman, gairloch, tomsmr2 and a few others that really know what they are talking about

or just skim through some of my earlier posts, i have a whooole bunch of diagrams and info somewhere when i was having some issues.
