You see how the vacum line runs from the turbo to the wastgate and the wastgate has another nipple coming off of it,,, block it off.... Okay im assuming your talking about the silver lines that originate from the middle of the actaul turbo, and they are right next to eachother.. these are the coolant lines... one is a feeder and one is a return

those two silver ones are the ones i was talking about. i was thinking they were either oil or coolant lines. where did you guys tap these lines into.

If your car is 91-92 there should be plug bolts in the water goosenecks. I drilled and tapped these to 1/4 NPT and screwed in a 3/8 hose barb in each one. Guys also T into the lines under the throttle body.

i've got about $900 in mine so far. but thats the kit, manifold, exhaust, and dp. i still got some things i need to get. but i think i will be somewhere in the 1500 range.

Thanks killermiller, that's good to know. I know what you mean about the tinkering, I am the same way. I will literally spend hours, when I have the free time, by starting to do something simple and then meander off track and start fiddling with other little things, just having fun.

Haha the only reason that hasn't happened to me is that I don't have all the tools to do that...yet. I live in an apartment complex, so no garage or anything for me. But, I am going to college to be a mechanic, so I have access to a FULLY stocked garage. They have every kind of tool and machine I can think of, and then some besides.

Haha no wife here, I'm 18 and single! I can spend all the money I want (well, all my extra money after bills and such..
) on my car. And I don't want to have to deal with a girlfriend during my first year of college, which I will be starting next month. I'll just have fun with whoever I want. ![]() |

i feel you on the spending money on tools. i tell my wife that its a necessary evil. she gets pissed, but when i explain that i can write it off on taxes she gets all excited because she spends our tax refund every year. i think ive spent about $7000 so far this year on tools and im not done yet. but anyways.....does anyone have any suggestions on the blow-off valve lines and where they might be going?

What kind of BOV are you using? There are spare ports on the back of the intake mannifold that are capped off(passenger side just in front of the trunk fire wall). these work great for BOV, boost gauge, BTM, or any other added vaccum lines.

its the stock BOV. thanks for the info. im gonna go hook those up real quick. im waiting on my battery to charge for my cordless drill so i can run the coolant lines tonight. does it matter which one of those silver lines is the return and which one is the feed? if so give me some hints. im thinking the bent one is the return, but i could have that wrong.

Here is what I did. The one hose goes around back of the heat shield. had to cut a small bit out of the gaurd to let the hose come through. then small hunks of hose to protect the coolant line. If these pics are hard to understand let me know.
