google brass T + cracking and see what you find.
those ****ty brass T's have been used for years, and sometimes they last, but lots of them crack over time.
i'd rather spend the extra 15$ now, and know it will last than save 15$ and have my car burn to the ground.
I meant no insult. I was just giving my 2 cents. I agreed with you in the second sentance of my post I have been a machinist in oilfield repair for going on 7 years now, and gunsmithing just as long also. I feel I have a fairly good understaning of metalurgy. I was not trying to say you are absalutly wrong by any means. I was also just talking about the oil line fittings, not the T itself. I made my T out of the equivilant of a grade 8 bolt.

You only need the 8910 eis tach addaptor. Did you already get everything installed?

im gonna take the one that is already connected to the btm off and connect the new one just in the case that the one that is currently connected is bad.

ive mounted everything and i am gonna start the process after dinner tonight. i do have a quick question.......ive located the coil wire (easy) but i do not know which side is positive and which side is negative. (this could have also been my problem the first time around.) got any suggestions?

Ref #1 -BGB page IG-12
Ref #2 -wiring diagram manual, page 1 of the actual diagrams in the back

ok so after some long days of waiting and finally being able to get back to my two, i got to work. i installed the btm and tach adaptor finally. the wiring for it was a pain in the ass to reach, but it works. i got the oil feed ran and got the oil pan tapped for the return. i didnt have a tap and dye set small enough for the water goose necks so i went to sears and bought a set. today i am gonna tap the goose necks and run the cooling lines to the turbo. all thats left after that is putting the oil pan back on, hooking up the return line for the oil and praying that she runs.

Or you could just make it easier and pull the efi fuse.

Oh ok I was asking because that was the reason my car didn't want to start, I had it grounded to the ear piece by the lid (where the scoop would go) and didn't want you making the same mistake.

be careful when you drill and tap those bolts. Mine were definatly hard. Use some good cutting fluid for drilling and tapping. I prefer mistic metal mover.

ok so goosenecks are done!!!! lines are connected etc. i started her up and the turbo doesnt build pressure........after looking over all of my work for hours i found the problem.........the wategate plunger was disconnected from the end that opens and closes by the downpipe. hopefully i will be able to connect it back and it will build some pressure up.
