Anybody have a write up for differential seals?

I figured out I have a small leak in my axle seals, I have the rubber seals already. just need a good write up and recommendations before I jump into it.

I did order a BGB volume 2 (I already have the first issue for my car)

FYI: 1993 5S-FE

thanks a bunch!

haha, that too, recommended brand of tranny/diff fluid?

I'm still new to mechanics and all that, so I still need the small details there too.

thanks!

fistly when i did mine
left side is easy its in a little alum plate with like 9 bolts so you take that off and can get it out from behind

right side is tricky they are in there tight
i used a claw hammer
got the claws behind the solid bit of it and the head against the housing and levered it out took 30 seconds after spending an hour trying to wiggle it free

dont remove the housing. its unnecessary. use a seal remover and pry them out.. you can also use a screw driver, hammer, pry bar.. anything really.

step one: drain fluid.
step two: clear attachments to the drive shaft.
step three: use pry bar(some effective tool) to remove seals.
step four: replace with new seals.
step five: put everything back together/fill with fluid.

is that somewhat accurate?
