My MR2 won't turn on!(Help Please!)

After 9 agonizing months of not having a car, I finally finished my 5sfte conversion today

( I took long gathering pieces), and well now the car won't start

. It turns over, but will not start, every thing is fine. What I noticed is there is not spark, also that the battery as soon as it's unlpugged from the jumpers. The car completely dies. What can be causing this? Help?

Our donor battery to jump start is it full charge ? Or is it from a running car ?
Seems to me that you have a battery only , if so its probably low, not enough juice to start.
If its a running car you have problems.
Second if you disconnect that donor and totally dies, you MR2 battery is dead.
New battery required . And possibly your alternator is gone also.
Lets us know what you have done

Its from a running car, and it gets enough juice to crank and sound like it wants to turn on but won't? From what we (friends) saw is that the car is getting no spark. We even tested the plugs and no spark at all, and I don't know whats causing it to not get any.

Did you double check conections? I mean the ECU, coil and spark plugs cables...

I suggest changing the coil/distributor.

Agree something wrong with your cableing.

Is your BTM already wired in? If so, has the car run since you installed the BTM?

Ok fixed, It was the BTM, it wasn't grounded properly and my cousin regrounded it and it fired up like a champ. She sounds so beautiful, 9 long months and she finally lives. I'll post with vid tomorrow because I need to wash her before taken pics. Did I mention you can hear the turbo through the exhuast.

Hells yeah I'm excited, about 9 freaking months, and that exhuast sounds sweet... Yeah I'll do that tomorrow.
