ok dont bash me, im just curious. If i were to rev up my 5sfe to like 6000 rpms and then put it in first and just drop the clutch, what would happen. i know it is bad, and no i am not going to do it, but what damages would i cause. i hace 167000 miles on it.

Transaxle failure is likely if the clutch even grabs.

if everything is fine, itll just burn out but it isnt good on your car. i have a spec stage 3 and have dumped the clutch a few times around 5500 and the only thing thats happened is 2 bolts came out of my front trans mount. my car also has 155000 miles

No ![]() And you put a lot of strain on your engine, drivetrain when you do that drop clutchy thing Remeber...something has to give...if its not your tires...then something else is |
