"best sounding" is all a matter of personal preference. Maybe he doesn't like that one.

Mine is custom fab and it sounds the shiz imo. Its low/rumbly sounding and not too fartcan, loud but not deafening and has a nice tone at idle. There really needs to be an exhaust thread for all the name brand mufflers this gets asked a lot.

We all know you're the master of homebrew, ghetto-rig MR2 components. But we can't all have that magic touch.

hahaha... but yeah, something low and quiet. I wonder if they make an exhaust like a storm cloud? At low rpms it rumbles quietly until a big bolt of lightning strikes the ground and goes boom(like when you step on the gas) I'd love to have an exhaust like that.

Well from what I hear the EMSpowered exhaust is somewhat quieter at low RPM's and then completely opens up when you get on the gas.

most vids i've seen on youtube with the great sounding NA exhausts are running cats. according to KOSports site, the 7" mufflers for the NA's are hella loud if there is no cat. unfortunately, my 5sfe is running headers and i'm afraid to go to get a muffler to replace my stock because of how loud it's supposedly going to be...having trouble finding an exhaust manifold with cat for purchase. |
