My Google Map

Where is the map sensor?

Now I got a piggy back computer for my car, now I was almost positive of where the sensor was. I even had my dad with me and he identified it as it.
However I notice a extreme difference when I mash the throttle.
How ever if I rev it a little bit it ends up dieing, and actually almost didnt start. Scared me a little it normally fires right up but it took like 15sec.

(Okay we know it is hooked up right, I think it might just be a bad computer. We are calling them monday{an admin can delete this one})

The 5sfe doesn't have a map sensor. It uses an AFM.

^The mk2 mr2's 5sfe does run a map sensor. It's located on the rear PS firewall.

well it is hard to say cuz I am new to this car and well don't have a manual yet, and it is not the afm, that is the air flow meter...that is the same thing as the mass air flow sensor just a different name, rather it moniters the speed of air instead of volume

mr220v: thanks, and well I know I have it hooked up right, even if it isn't a map sensor it is the same thing pretty much, you unhook it the motor will not run, like I said I think I have it hooked up right and it is towards the rear PS firewall like you say.
