Wrecked my MR2

It's been awhile since I posted on the board here (busy w/ work and school), but back in June I went into a corner a little too fast and smashed into a guard rail. Fortunately the car is still driveable and unaffected mechanically, but the right side sustained some pretty heavy damage. I've attached some pictures and am searching for some input as to what I should do (if anything) about fixing my beloved 2. I've been to three different shops around the greater Seattle area and the lowest estimate I received was $2800. From looking at the damage, does it look like I need my quarter panels replaced? Or do you guys think I could pull/punch the dents out? Any input is appreciated.

ya I suppose the shops around here are hurting a little bit, but one shop actually quoted me at $4200. They wanted to replace the entire right side of the car. I was thinking of simply ordering new front and rear bumpers and then getting a paint job.

I would say to do that and do what ever labor you can on your own and leave the rest up to the shop, that way it cuts on ur costs that you pay other people for.

Doesn't look that bad. For the price you were quoted, I would say DIY is the best way to go. Get yourself a slide hammer, bumpers, and have at it!

also, I will add to that, my friend wrecked his 350Z, set off all airbags, and scraped his side up a ton more than you did, so feel pretty good about that man! glad you are okay too!

2800 is crazy. I could fix that and re-paint the entire car plus parts and labor for less than that. I say buy bumpers. I wouldnt do much body work on it unless you know what you are doing. You could easily make it worse if you try fixing it and dont know what your doing.
