I know the feeling. The piece that connects to the manifold on mine broke in half. Sounds wonderful doesnt it? Im lookion for pieces too. Look in the for sale section. There are several people with exhaust pieces. Look at some of the part out threads. Good luck

ya my car already has new headers, those are stainless and in perfect condition, its the stock muffler that messed up, I looked through the for sale section and couldn't really locate one for sale

Same thing happened to my '92 5sfe also. I've read in some of the other threads that the '91/'92 turbo oem exhausts will work with the 5sfe (just need an adapter that chico rw sells). sounds a little better too.
Looks like we're all looking for the same thing in the Sale section, but if the oem turbo piece will work, then at least that expands our options a little. |

ya i know what your talking about but mine is worn away on the muffler itself so i really need the whole muffler

Would it be possible to cut off the old flange and weld a new one on? Possibly replace the length of pipe that's rusted?

didn't even think of that, i will weld on a stainless flange sometime. Wouldn't mind an aftermarket one though

i have a stock muffler, uncut (i unbolted it) no dents or cracks.
just a stock mr2 muffler with the flange still on it |
