Fuel and RPM mess

Hi There!

Long time since my last visit here... for now my MR2 is totaly restored - and painted with a nice alpina wise 3 color...

But there is still some things to be solved...

I have a feeling that my fuel is being used faster than it should.. I totaly don't know how much should it be but for now average consumption is 11/12 liters per 100 KM...
I thoat maybe i drive as a crazy monkey and decided to touch gas pedal as gently as possible and no result.. same stuff....

And other thing is that RMP are dropping very slow... while standing. For example i push on the gas and release it fast - it stands there for a sec... and then drops very slowly... i don't know how should it be that's why i ask...
I have had other cars - none of them had such slow dropping RPM issue...

Thanx in advance...

The Car is 1991 3S-GE - ~300000 KM on board...

About your RPMs dropping, something common that would cause that is your throttle cable splitting. Happens to many people and for some it even gets stuck. You can try disconnecting it at the throttle body at reving the engine with the butterfly valve lever thing (Can't remember what its called)
off topic, but got pics of your new paint?

SOLVED!

Sounds stupid but it was as simple as that!
My Thermostad died... and i found it out only when winter came.. when the car was not warming up normaly... so... spent 20 EUR... and uala...

Fuel is being used less.. and RPM are down when engine is warm!

P.S. Changing Cooland is one funny thing on MR2
