hub assembly 91-92 compatible with 93+?

so i've been calling dealers to check on the hub assembly part number.. it seems to be only one difference. the 91 steering knuckle is different from 92.5+ but everything will fit on them bearings hub they all fit. and knowing that people switch to 93 tie rods all the time by just changing the bracket and the rod it fits. so anyone know if theres' a difference or is it just a changed #? they were unable to tell from the computer... and since they don't carry them, they can't help me any further =/

the part numbers
93 Steering knuckle 43211 17090 (or not sure 10790)
91 Steering Knuckle 43211 17050
so cliffnotes version will 91-92 hub bolt onto a 93+ knowing that they both have power steering?

so apparently its actually only 91 that different from the rest o.0 i'm just confused now....

don't think too much, they are all the same except for the turbo rear hubs/axles. the only thing that changed through out the years is the larger dust shield for the 93 brakes

The main difference between the two is that front caster is no longer adjustable.

when i talked to the guy from the parts department he had told me the steering knuckle was changed in February of 92 So something had changed from 91 o.0
i was under the impression the reason the caster was adjustable because the tie rods were adjustable, unlike 93+

The tie rod adjustment is usually for toe change. Caster adjusts the steering axis forward and backward, which is fixed on the MY93+ (production 9201+) spindle.

Tie rods are always adjustable.

Old thread, but I will be changing my 92 (Nov 92 build date) with 93 hubs soon...the hole where the ball joint bolts into the hub is stripped...
