Arrow 1992 MR2 Issues a few of them...

Hello all, Im new here. Very new to owning a MR2 for that matter. I have a couple of issues to throw out there for everyone.

First,
When im at a stop at a traffic light or wherever the car is sitting at idle. The car seems to run smooth for about ten seconds then bog down, not too much just a bit and then go back to normal for another ten or so seconds. Its enough to drive me crazy.

Second,
I noticed this today actually. Im driving down the road and had to slam on brakes due to a animal in the road. The front shakes like crazy when i mash the brakes hard. All four rotors have been resurfaced and new brakes installed less than 1,000 miles ago, So therefore im ruling out hot spots on the rotors. Ive looked at the front once and found out the previous owner had installed new ball joints and tie rod ends. thas about it as far as replacement parts up front. Any suggestions will be helpful.

Thank you for your time -David
