Trying to start the car drains the battery completely
the only thing I did before this was install a stereo... onconventionally
but I have ran it since then... and during just regular driving it just died... , tried to start it and the dash lights kicked on for half a second then everything dies... then nothing has power at all... I have to plug in a batter jumper to start it and everything runs fine... then I shut it off.. all electrics work... till I try to start it and that kills it.. wtf? could a blown fuse do this? I just got the car home and have been too frustrated and lazy to go look it over.. |

hook up a volt meter to your battery while its running, check your volts should b at like 13.8-14.4. then shut the car off, should go down to about 12-12.8. try to start it then check your volts. should only go down to 8 at the lowest. no lower
