I gotta problem with one of my belts but idk which belt or wut the problem is. There's a loud screeching\squeeking noise coming from a belt. I think it mite be the a\c belt but I'm not sure. I tried spraying both the alternator and ac belts with a belt dressing I bought at the auto shop but its still there. It happens everytime I turn on the car and it stays until I shift into 2nd. Sumtimes it even stays sounding wen I'm on 2nd. It also sound everytime I stop or slow down. Its getting really bad and annoying. Any idea wut the problem is? Thnx

check to see if the belt is loose. it could also be a bad compressor clutch.

if its that bad you should be able to tell almost by just looking at it.
with the car off get down there and feel both belts. If you get alot of movement out of that particular belt, tighten it a bit, test drive, and repeat until squeal is gone ![]() |
