New to the mk2's have questions.

I have been playing around in my mk1 for a year and a half, bought a second one swapped a 20v silvertop in it but it wouldnt run right so I sold it for a huge loss and I picked up a mk2. I love the mk2 body style so I didnt feel too bad buying this one with no paint and quite a few other few issues. Came with 94 jdm seats and a 94 steering wheel and 93 I think wheels. I cant really say that any of them do much for me but we'll see how everything works out.
This came out of the driveway,

This came in

I'd rather a momo or something else.

Rather sparco, momo or corbeau seats but I'll deal.

Needs a dash, carpets, and door panels for the interior.

Onto my problems. Throttle cable; what is this? This looks wrong and I'm 99% sure it is not set up the correct way.

What all do I need here? Do I need an afm? I also think I'm missing the coolant overflow?

Wiring issues
I think this is for the alternator but theres quite a few plugs so I'm not sure about that. The car is missing the alternator so maybe.

This wire?

Ground to where?

This is the one thing thats really confusing me, The starter gets the fat wire goes to the starter and theres a plug thats already plugged in and then an extra plug next to it and I think there is a ground coming up.

I'll be asking more questions as more things come in. I should be getting some stock tail lights and a bumper this weekend hopefully.

I can answer most of your questions...
1. Throttle cable: There is supposed to be a blk plastic rubber that holds it down there with a metal clip on the side. You can get that part of camary's and celica's @ junk yards. same engine.
2. All your missing in that picture underneath the throttle cable photo is the intake box and probably overflow bottle thingy. I have that. I actually have most of everything from my old 5s in my attic right now.
3. As for wires, The fat round ground goes to the starter ground. And that other wire with a pin doesn't go anywhere. I'm pretty sure of that.
4. Grounds... the one ontop of the radiator cap goes on the side lid where that blk screw is. There should be a hole there and a 10mm bolt bolts it to the side lid. Grounds are: Valve cover to body, tranny to body, body harness to starter, wiring harness to starter, wiring harness to alternator. I think thats it?
5. That last plug by the starter just hangs there. nothing special...

Ok, I got a new alternator today and went to install it. It doesnt quite fit into the bracket. It's tight and I might have to take a grinder to the bracket. I'm not sure if it's warped or what but it'll fit tomorrow. Then I have to trace down a few wiring issues then finish it up and start driving.

So far, I got the drivers side door to shut.
Got the drivers side door to open from the outside.
Got the gts trunk with 94 wing mounted and that shuts and now releases. The key doesnt work but the cable works.
Painted it with primer to get it looking a tad bit better. Ran out of paint half way through.
Figured out how to take the sunroof out.

I need to:
Get a bolt or 2 into the outer door handle cup thing. I dont know why it was unbolted.
Get the alternator in.
Figure out this viper alarm. Hopefully get it to unlock with button. It locks but wont unlock.
Get the hood and headlights to fit they way I want them to.
Mk1 badge on the hood.
Get the bumper, carpets, door panels, dash and tail lights. (Next Sunday)
Get it running up to par.
Get a maaco paint job. I work at a carwash and my boss says the one in my area does really good work.
More pics will come.
